| I find a visual intensity on the streets, a spirituality, a simple beauty, and more compelling, simple truths. I keep going back with my camera, and I love it and hate it. What I love is how human beings seem to find ways of adapting to their immediate circumstances and experiences, clinging to life, to one another, and even to those creative acts that help them preserve some semblance of their culture, their individuality, their dignity. |
